We will work well with fellow passionate Lions members with speakers of great skill. We are sure that we will have a lot of fun during festive evenings with gourmet food and drink tasting.
France’s Lions are a waiting many of you ; they feel like sharing strong moments of lionism, of friendship, to enrich each other by the diversity of our actions in Europe in order to build together, during the European Forum, some main lines for a true European Lions identity within the Lions Clubs International.
Lions Friends, our European appeal, our activities on all the continents, our ideas, our privileged relationships with all the countries of planet, will allow this Forum to develop many more exchanges, many more actions with all the participants from every corner of the world who will come for this important event which will take place in a particularly attractive and prestigious place.
Cannes is a splendid dream city which will enchant you, under its palm trees in a still summery season of the French Riviera.
Each Lions of Europe is a wave full of life, full of force, full of hope, full of conviction and you will be the actors, the stars, in this temple of the cinema, for this European Forum where we will celebrate the true festival of the Lions in Cannes, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th October, 2008.
You can also, if you wish, take part in the Golfer Lions World Championship the 5th, 6th and 7th of October 2008, organized by the European Forum within the framework of the LISA action : Lions Sports Actions.
